Futsal is played on a hard cement surface so the Joma Sala Max IN Sn91 futsal shoes fits right.
Those playing futsal players know comfort and style rarely goes together with futsal shoe. That said, even the slightest level of comfort is much welcomed.
I am not a regular futsal player, but when I play, comfort of my feet is important.
THE STYLE OF THE JOMA SALA MAX IN SN91
Compared to the trend of futsal shoes these days, the Joma Sala Max IN Sn91 futsal shoes is considered less trendy. It’s outer design and material makes it look a lot like a jogging shoe.
The thin outsole however gives it away because jogging shoes these days have thicker outsoles to improve support and comfort when running.
Futsal shoes need to be more durable and the grip needs to be better because futsal involves running and kicking at the same time.
The version of Joma futsal shoes I had was in royal blue. It has a red stripe on the toe cap that makes it stand out.
The outsole is in bright neon yellow, making it the only part of the shoe which is according to today’s trend.
Generally, I do like the style of the shoes as it doesn’t stand out too much compared to other designs that are neon colored.
Some however may not like it for being not ‘glossy enough’.
COMFORT OF THE JOMA SALA MAX IN SN91
Thanks to the flexible rubber sole, the Joma shoes is comfortable to wear as futsal shoes.
The shoe supports movement well, and kicking the ball feels easy as my feet feels like its one with the shoe.
Since the shoe’s collar lining is made of cloth and canvas, it is comfortable to wear.
When walking, the shoes are surprisingly lightweight and this is a huge plus point.
I wouldn’t recommend the shoe for daily walks. The shoe is pretty fitting and four hours of use is the max I’d use it. The inner sole is not built for walking comfort and after a while, my feet were be screaming for air.
I personally love this futsal shoes because it feels very complete as a futsal shoe.
It may not be the best futsal shoe out there, but it is great enough for playing futsal thanks to its flexible outsole.
The shoes cost RM189 at SportsDirect but you can get a discount if you buy it online.
